Rear rider gas line connection

Changed out the gas line on my snapper rear rider - the connection at the engine swivels - is this correct or is something broken? Engine is Briggs and Stratton 28B702-1154-E1.

It should be replaced as it was never intend to swivel. It will leak gas and sooner or later break off. It pressed fit into the carburetor so you would need to extract it and install the new one the position want it to stay in.
