Rear discharge deck

I have a ZG327 with a 60 inch rear discharge deck. Has anyone ever put mulching blades on this type of deck. Looking at getting some Gator blades. Also are there any other good blades for this type of deck?

I would like to know how this works out for you as well. I have a ZD326 that has a side discharge deck. I would like to know about this rear discharge. I have never seen one in operation and if or when we trade mowers or buy another mower I would be interested.

The 327 is water cooled like the ZD right?
 
Yes that's correct, it is water cooled. Personally i love the rear discharge deck. I mow some areas at the farm with it and if the grass gets a little taller than normal, no big deal. The deck has never bogged down on me yet and the rubber flaps on the rear of the mower deck just even spread the clippings out on the ground.
