Good afternoon

Can someone tell me - how to reinstall a rear shock on a Ferris. It needs to be compressed a bit to get the bolt holes to line up. Thanks in advance.

Could you bolt the shock to the frame and them lift the body to line the holes up. Never tried just a thought.

Wrap a ratchet strap around it to compress it.

Hmm. Interesting thought. Have you tried that before ? I will give it a shot tomorrow

Yes i have. Many automotive gas filled shocks come compressed with a plastic strap you cut off after install. The ratchet strap achieves the same thing.
