Any of y'all know what is difference in these two plugs, the RC12 vs the XC92? i've come across them in some newer Storm Responders lately... dimension wise they're identical.

Well here what I found on the net. The XC92YC (STK No 980) is a non resistor plug gapped at .050 and the RC12YC (NGK BKR5ES (2460)) is a resistor plug gaped at .035. So the RC12YC would work fine as a replacement plug and would create less RFI noise in the area. Even Briggs tech support suggest just using the RC12YC. Here I sub the NGK 2460 plug as it has me stocking few plugs.

BTW both cost the same for me purchase from the distributor.

Yikes I need to order some 2460 plugs. I usually keep 16 in stock.

Thanks for the info.
I've been using the RC12 plugs in their place with no issues.
