Raptor SD Starting Issue

I have a Raptor SD 54" and it recently had to go to the shop because the cross brace piece had broken and the repair was covered by warranty. Before it went to the shop, when I started the mower, the throttle could be in pretty much any position and it would crank right up, but since I got it back from the shop, sometimes I can hear it click like it wants to start and I have to just keep moving the throttle position ever so slightly until I find a place that it will start.

Any idea what has changed or what I need to adjust? When it first happened, I just assumed the battery was weak and changed it out, so that's not it. Sometimes I think it's just not going to start and then I will eventually find a throttle position that will work.

Thanks.....

Moving the throttle handle affects how the mower turns over?

people have different meaning of words...
Crank to me means turning the engine over...because old, old cars had a "crank" handle on the front of the motor.

firing off/starting to me means the engine is operating as needed for use.

Usually the choke is what is moved to the closed position to start the engine.

I leave my throttle at wide open position and push the choke closed and turn the key...mower /fires off/starts/runs
