Hello, I have a Raptor Sd 60" with the Kawasaki engine and was wondering what oil most of you all are running? I usually use Mobile 1 synthetic in everything. I am guessing this will be fine in this engine. Just wanted to get a little feedback. thanks in advance.
the owners manual recommends using sae 30 or 10w-30. i havent changed mine yet but one of these is what i plan on using. also be sure to use a kawasaki oil filter. my dealer said using an automotive type filter will cause damage to the engine.
I changed mine at 9hrs, shell rotella 30w. Most will say you should let the rings seat before switching to synthetic 50-100hrs, otherwise the seal wont be there and it will smoke/burn oil.
