Raptor Floor tread/Grip

I used to mow on my Dad's JD zero turn, which was fitted with a grippy rubber foot mat with ridges. When I am on my Raptor descending a hill or hopping back on the mower after walking in damp grass, I feel like the metal foot surface, even with the perforations, does not provide a lot of grip for my feet. Has anyone ever modified their footing area by using griptape, pads, etc.?

I’ve used marine skid tape and It worked well.

Shoot it with RAPTOR bed liner and while it is still good and wet sprinkle with a little black beauty sand blasting sand. You will have a lasting surface that adds a LOT of traction.

I most definitely agree.

That mat from HF seems like the most logical and practical way to go not to mention the cost (that's a no brain'er there).
