Rally start problem

Hi,

My Rally (2 cyl. B&S) can't start!
After a long winters sleep, my Rally has starting problems. Until now I have solved this with a complete cleaning of the carburator (total split the carburator and clean with compressor) and cleaning/renewing the sparkplugs. But this time it do not work!
I can pull the choker and the engine fires and keeps running about 15 sec. then it dies! The intake seems to be flooded with fuel! I have cleaned and checked everything - but the problem persist!
Any ideas?

First thing I would check is your float height. Those carbs like to run a bit lean, so I would set it about 1/16" (2mm) higher than level. If that does not work I would lean the mixture out with the adjusting needle.
