I have the same model tractor, mine is out of warranty so you may or may not want to do this mod, on the front tab of the mower deck there is a rod connected to the top hole to a tab, notice the bottom hole is not the same size hole as the rod size on top. I just drilled it out and used that hole. Mower works fine now

All moving parts on mowing deck need to be lubed or greased occasionally, this will help considerably in the operation of mowing deck. Just be sure to keep oil and grease from getting on belts.
