Shouldn't the mower deck be level to the ground? My deck looks like it sits lower in the front than the rear. One of the adjustment bolts looks like someone who needs to lay off the Ho Ho's and beer, stepped on it. I have ordered a new one.

In your owners manual it should describe how much slope is correct to the front of yours. (before any adjustments, check ALL tire pressures for correct psi).

On my riding mowers forward slope of mow deck is usually between 1/16" - 5/16" Any more, or less should be correctly adjusted.

Get your mower on good level surface & measure at the blade tips for best accuracy.. Once correct F to R is established, check side to side for level.

With a gauge like this, check blade cutting edge height side to side and front to rear on a flat surface.

They typically pitch front to rear a little. What mower is this?

Have you downloaded the Owner's Manual for that machine? Exmark has a section in the Owner's Manuals for setting deck heights correctly.
