I sold the 46" deck that went with this 1045. I have a couple of 42" decks that I could install. Question is, do I match up a new PTO with the decks? or the engine size? Or both?
Seems the difference in PTO's has at least something to do with how far the belt pulley is from the clutch part of the PTO. So is alignment of the belt more important than anything else?
