the person was messing with carb. the pick up line was broke replaced it now the fuel just stays in the crankcase doesn't want to go in the cyl. can spray starting fluid in spark plug hole reinstall plug will start and run for a few seconds?

i think the carb needs to be cleaned. usually when you have to replace lines you have to clean/rebuild the carb.
The fuel is in the crankcase but not in the cyl.cleaned the original carb then changed carb same problem. I use a sonic cleaner which works great. I might try cleaning the original carb again. Also when you spray start fluid in carb won't start but when you remove spark plug and spray in cyl then fire it's like the fuel is not going from crankcase to the cyl?
