Not question just a heads up/education. I've had many folks say that if a belt has the right OEM number it's the right belt. T'aint so.
Bad Boy belt number 041-5048-00, used on Pups and Lightnings and several others, has been seen on many belts but most are nowhere near spec and most are too short and too "fat". You should be looking for a Narrow 5V belt, 15.8MM (.622in) top width, 14MM (.55in) depth) and 81.1inches long. Invariably the top width non OEMs send is 5/8" top width which makes it ride higher in the the groove(s) and reduces effective length further. They also send belts that are generally barely 80" long (you need a belt measuring tool to tell as it's usually not accurate if you try to measure and adjust for all the factors). You need 81" for some of these belts. And the belt should be a "raw faced" belt, that is, one without a Kevlar cover or some other cover type....those make the belt fatter and inappropriate for the same reason given above.
Now, you don't have to buy a Bad Boy branded belt but you SHOULD be asking the vendor for the exact ( top width can go to .600 inches but length can go a bit less than 81" ) measurements given above. And ask if they used a belt measuring tool. Some will lie and they just get the belt back on their dime. If you have another Bad Boy belt number specified for your machine the best time to get all this data is when it's new or take the measurements from a Bad Boy supplied replacement belt.
