Hi,
Im new to forums so i apologize if im in the wrong thread
My problem is that one day i was cutting a long lawn (on a Lawnboss ride-on) and the belt that drives the blades snapped. I replaced it the next day and all was well except that sometimes when i turn on the blades, the pulley at the engine spins but the belt remains still and often producing some sparks from the steel inside the belt. The blades themselves are not stuck or blocked as they spin up fine sometimes. I got a mechanic to look at it and did absolutely nothing to fix it.
Also, there seems to be a small pulley with no belt that i never noticed before. It seems like it should connect to another pulley right above (possibly directly attached) to the blade belt pulley at the engine.
Could this have something to do with it?
Im told my Lawnboss is a rare type of mower so information might be scarce
Im really stumped and would appreciate any help
Thanks
