Pull cord sticks, smooth with spark plug out. *FIXED*

Briggs and Stratton 10ohv generator. I was moving the generator with a dolly, it falls off and rolls over sits upside down for about 15 seconds. I had to order new rubber shoes so it sat right side up for a week.
It starts just fine and I run it for 20 seconds and when I turn off it shakes more than normal. I then try to pull start it again and the cord hangs up after a half rotation. I can pull through with lots of force. I remove the spark plug and it rotates just fine. Im first told hydrolock. No oil, gas, or liquid comes out of plug hole. I drained the oil and tried it again with just the spark plug in and it still hangs up. I turned engine over to see if there is any excess liquid coming out of plug hole and pull a rotation or two and no liquid comes out. I poured 2 ounces of gas in the sparkplug hole and rotated a few times with plug out to see if I could thin out any oil trapped. Still sticking. Any ideas?

change oil & filter using 5w30 full synthetic oil per manual above. Are you sure about engine make, manual says Tecumseh engine.

It pulls and rotates fine with plug out, so a compression issue right? Im far from a mechanic. Will look at valves today.

You couldn't have done anything to the valves by rolling it over.
If you've had it running, there is no liquid remaining in the cylinder.
If it has rubber engine mounts, did one of them break when it fell?

Yes two mounts broke and I replaced them. engine and motor bounced around inside generator frame when it rolled.

There is a needle valve on fuel line that was left open now that I think of it. I get where your going, keep it closed. Maybe hydrolocked now?

It might be. Getting turned upside down may not have helped the needle valve in the carburetor. You might need a new needle and seat but you still need to keep the fuel shutoff valve closed any time the generator isn't being used as a precaution.

By taking the plug out a couple of times and pulling it over and checking oil level should take the hyrolock out of the equation.
