i HAVE A TIGER CAT WITH A 22 HP KAWASKI ENGINE. wAS MOWING AND THE BLADES JUST QUIT. tRY TO HIT THE BUTTON AND RESET NO PTO. TOOK THE CONTROL PANEL APART AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE DELTA PTO SWITCH IS MELTED TO THE CONNECTOR. CAN I BUY A NEW SWITCH AND HARDWIRE IT TO THE MOWER. I DO NOT SEE ANY CONNECTORS LISTED FOR THE SCAG EXCEPT FOR THE WIRING HARNESS WHICH IS OVER 300 DOLLARS. ARE IS THERE A CONNECTOR I CAN BUY AND CONNECT TO THE EXISTING WIRING.

would be a good thing to check the pto coil before installing a new switch. If the coil is shorted it could burn the contacts on a new switch

you can check on engine just unplug connector and use ohm meter
