Pto quit working

Well my used 1500z pto quit working. Anybody know how to troubleshoot the switch or what I need to check. It mowed fine last week when I used it...THANKS
 
Thanks, looks like the clutch is bad. It was the original one, dated 2005. New one is expensive.
