:frown:I have a scag turf tiger. After I mow awhile, Pto won't engage if I turn it off, sometimes it quits on its own after mowing awhile. I replace the switch first, then put in new battery, all connectors seem fine. I air gapped the clutch. It also melts the plastic on the fuse or sometimes blows the fuse. It has 450 hrs, non commercial. At this point I'm thinking I have to replace the clutch? Is tis normal for no more hrs than this?

Your symptoms and what you have done, indicate that it is time to replace the clutch.

Sorry for the long delay, but I did end up putting in a new PTO after trying everything else.

Make sure that the engine charging system is putting out the correct output.
