PTO deck belt keepers - where mounted

my newly acquired used YT1000 LT1000 mower has suffered some removal of parts by DPO that result in throwing the deck belt
after much research it appears it should have a metal-rod-U-bent keeper by the front PTO pulley - it does not show in the sketchy parts diagram i downloaded
i am guessing it is the part(s) pictured below, but have no idea how/where they are mounted to the frame
????
