I restored(mechanical) a 1987 Murray, don't have the time now to finish it, not much to do just put the deck back on, test belt(s) operation etc....
What's Done: Rebuild worn rod pivot ends, Rebuild new steering bush (billet 6061 aluminum), Rebuild starter(brushes, bearings, pinion gear), New chain & sprockets, Rebuild gearbox, Remanufacture main rear pulley, New belts, Weld plates in deck & add center strength plate, Rewire electrical, Replace carby, Fix axle bearing mounts, lube everything that moves, +++...
Stripdown engine & clean out, fix ring & valve clearance, re-hone cylinder (previous owner replaced rings)
