We have a Pro154 that is not even 8 months old. Yesterday when mowing it started sliding downhill when turning. By the time we got it on the trailer to take to the shop the left back wheel was setting at 6 inches out from where it should have been. Has anyone else had this problem and what caused it?

How steep was this hill? Steep enough to cause the mower to slide I guess. Might be too steep for that machine.

Sounds like the axle wants to leave the mower. Must be some retainer clips or something.

Take it back to the dealer for a warranty repair. Might not be free if you tell them you were mowing a ski slope. Just saying....

Wasn't steep at all, just wanted to turn around and it started sliding, some kind of fluid coming out of it. When we went to pick it up after buying it the entire motor had to be replaced before we could bring it home. Under normal circumstances we wouldn't have accepted it but they're extremely hard to find with Covid work stoppages. It's in the shop and should be covered by warranty, just afraid of what will happen next.

It ended up being the transmission, supposed to be in stock July 16th, we'll see.

Sounds dangerous. Good luck with it. (y)
