We had one like this last year on the forum.......

Hard Man 2 Luv I think it was....... He played hell with that engine..... MTD engine made in China I think......

I got it going. Replaced the starter and it started right up. I set the valves at .004 and .006. Runs good.

What's the model number, should be under the seat and start with 917.

Most likely it is 005 intake and 007 exhaust, but if we have the model number we can know for sure.

I just set the valves on one of these at .005/.005 (like I do Briggs and Kohler) and it turns over great. I wonder if this guy ever got his running?
