Mower S looking S.jpg
I noticed a couple years ago the deck wasn't cutting level. The right side of the deck would hit the hump loading the mower into the back of my pickup. I have finally found the problem. My frame over the rear axle on the right side has broke and bent the frame in a little bit.
I thought I could remove the rear wheel and bend it back again and re-inforce with a piece of angle. But I can't get the wheel off. After jacking up the right rear side, I unscrewed the wheel bolt expecting to just slide the wheel out, but it didn't budge.
Please can anyone help me with some sugestions.
And if anyone is interested, I have converted it to electric and been using it for 5 years. Another problem I am having with it is that forward speed is about half what it originally was. Reverse is now faster than forward. Any suggestions there? I added some fluid, but it has not made any difference.

Thank you for your consideration in these matters.
By the way, the picture is old and only shows one bank of battery cells in the back. Latter I moved on of the two banks under the hood to the back to put more weight on the rear wheels. While handling has improved and I am no longer wearing out steering linkage, this extra weight in back probably contributed to the frame failure. The rear axle is now supporting my 200 lbs plus 80 pounds of batteries.

PB blaster to remove the wheel. Replace drive belt to fix speed.
