Hello everyone. I've got a few year old Poulan Pro push mower. It's got a Briggs and Stratton motor. At the end of last season, it started sounding like it was going to stall every 10 seconds or so. It would almost die, then roar back to life. The carb was the issue (I thought) as I noticed gas was mixed in with the oil. So much gas, in fact, that the spark plug was coated in it. I replaced the plug and replaced about 2 months ago. It was running great all summer long. Yesterday, I was cutting the grass and it started sounding like it was going to stall just like before! Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you have water in your system. You need to at least drain the oil and fuel out to start. Take out the plug, air filter,
drain the oil and fuel, and turn upside down on top off some old cardboard and let it sit all day out in the sun, and let everything evaporate, add fresh oil and fuel the next day, replace the air filter if clogged, then go mow.

Don't forget to get rid of the old gas from gas can. Use in car or truck gas tank. Next make sure you don't buy more gas than can be used in 2 weeks.
