Poulan Pro 42 Eating Belts

I have a Poulan Pro 42 inch rider. which has run well for a couple of years. Last week the belt shreaded, replaced it and the next two did the same thing within 10 minutes. Could someone tell me what is doing this, It is the "Deck Belt " Thanks in advance, Deano

Make sure you are using EOM belts, and also inspect all the pulleys for turning free and not seized, Also make sure you are not missing a belt guide when installing the new belt. Will cook a belt real quick if you miss one, and the belt rubs on it.
