Not very good afternoon everybody. I heard too many POPS this afternoon.
1st Pop - Stripped threads on the Husqvarna 350 spark plug hole. I was cutting with it for good 10min then it stalled out. So I got to start up. Soon as started squeezing that trigger I here a pop then it stalls again. Threads in the spark plug are stripped after removing the engine cover and spark plug was pretty much not even in the hole.
2nd Pop - Started up the Sears GT3000 with Kohler 23hp vtwin CV674-75544. I slowed the throttle down after running it for 20min and then cut it off. Then after 5 second delay I hear loud POP. So I tried starting it again with no luck. I found blown head gasket with oil dripping around it on the head near the starter. So now it only starts when I spray carb cleaner in the carb. So I guess there's possibly a carb issue also. Before all this it was smoking off and on times on full throttle through the exhaust. When its slowed down at idle speed smoke just pours out the exhaust. So Im off to replace the head gasket and OHV cover gasket.
