Are the oregon r-75-135 belts any good? They say lifetime warranty but the photo shows polyester cord then another says aramid? What are the oregon belts made out of and what are the oem murray 37x88ma belts made out of. The belt on there last over 12+ years atleast possibly 20 years.

These are the oregon belts says polyamide under specifications. The lifetime warranty sounds nice. They also have the maxpower belt.

Oregen brand has been a trusted name for many years, and their replacement belts are usually an exact fit

"Lifetime warranty" means they are betting that you don't remember when or where you purchased it. LOL It is a selling gimmick most of the time. If you are operating commercial equipment, the warranty is usually not honored any way (Read the fine print).

I recommend you go with what the machine builder suggests. They don't make their own belts anyway; they are outsourced under private label contract in mass quantities from belt manufacturers.

Polyester cord is what most residential mower applications use. Aramid and Kevlar are usually found in commercial mower applications.

I do not recommend any generic "it will fit" online belts due to poor quality issues, so study the source before you buy.

So the regular polyester cord belt will be fine with NR rubber?
How about the Sten belts 265-031? Are these just covered fabric polyester cord or kevlar, aramid?

The original murray belt is aramid its 34$+tax i was just wondering if there is a belt thats just as good or better that was cheaper. No reason to overpay.
