please help

Hey guys got a quick question. I have a craftsman model 917378480 self propelled that im trying to replace the helical gear in. The problem is i cant get the driveshaft out because i cant get the bearings off the end of the shaft. Hoping someone can help me here. Thanks in advance for any help

well if you dont have a press with mandrels...then how bout a vice and some sockets and punches with a raw hide hammer?
