The Metal Fuel Tank on my B&S 9.5 Lb/Ft torque XR950 Model 130000 engine is rusty and fouls the fuel system/carb. It is mounted on a DR Chipper purchased in 2017.
I had cleaned it out removing all rust and mounted a New in-tank filter, but I’m sure it is rusty again.
I bought a can of fuel tank costing, but never got around to recleaning the original tank and applying the coating.
I noticed that there are Plastic replacement tanks, but I don’t know the correct P/N to order.
I “believe” the current Metal tank is P/N: 592877.
Does anyone know the correct Plastic replacement tank P/N?
Thank You

There is no replacement that I know of due OSHA regs. This engine was design for go cart use which require only metal tanks for safety purposes.
It is a B&S XR950 Professional,
Serial No.: 16-0624-98-69674
purchased in 2017

So it is an 130G32-0127-F1 Some of the older single cylinder horizontal intek engines had plastic fuel tanks, but the XR. CR series are kinda a Honda clone which uses metal fuel tanks.
