Mower deck Pin that Hold the PTO cable on the Mower Deck Troy-Bilt Bronco

Anyone have a trick to get the pin that holds the PTO cable on the mower deck of a Troy-Bilt Bronco off. I've pulled on it, but I can't get it to come off.

Stick a screwdriver through the opening and use a block of wood (or something else) to use as a point to pry up on. Yes, they can be a #¥+{\?€+
