New first time customer dropped off his Husqvarna rider with a kohler V-twin, Electric PTO... he bought it used.
Complaint, Battery wouldn't charge and it would die while mowing, have to jump start to start it and it might run a few minutes then die out, had already taken it to the local Husqvarna/Kohler/Briggs/kawasaki dealer....
First thing i do is check my connections at solenoid, starter and battery and both ends of the ground... This is what i found for the main connection at the battery, severely corroded and barely finger tight...
cut the cable and crimped a new end on it and so far, with about 1 hour of use, it has stayed running and is charging at 13.6 and battery maintained a charge of 12.8 while sitting 24 hours..... Kind of pathetic anyone would let that cable out of their shop like that.
