I have a 2005 Husqvarna iZ6123TKAA #968999259 with 600 hours on it. The stock wheel motors are Parker TL0240US080AAWM motors. The keyway on the right side shaft is is bad shape so much that it is allowing the woodruff key to wiggle back & forth in the slot which allows the hub to work loose & "woller" out. I have bandaided this for the last 3 years now & it is finally beyond replacing hubs & keeping it tight. I have been looking into replacing the shaft which can be purchased only through Parker (that I have found) for $208 + $100 for the seal kit, or replacing the motor - best price I have found for this particular motor is $770. On top of this, my left side has been "jerking" when pulling up hills so I would probably rebuild it now as well +$100 for another seal kit.
My questions -
1. Should i just rebuild these motors for +/- $408?
2. Send them off to be rebuilt? cost?
3. Would other Parker (or others) motors interchange with the (1) or if I replace both motors? - Looking at a Parker TF0240US081AADD motor(s) that can be had for around $400 each...
any help is appreciated.
