My mower will not start! If I prime the carburetor the mower will run until the prime is gone. Removed the gas line and there is good flow to the carburetor. Is there a float needle valve? What are the wires cumming from the bowl fore? I have a Briggs 14.5 moder.
You could try tapping carb with the handle of a screwdriver or similiar. This will work sometimes. If not then most likely going to have to clean the carb. Yes there is a float needle valve aka inlet needle. The wires going to the carb is for the anti after fire solenoid, when you turn the key it energizes and pulls back from carb main jet. When you turn the key off it plunges back up. I would check it for normal operation as well.
