Opinions on Scag

I am looking at a 61in tiger cub with a 23hp Kohler and 80 hrs, he says its a 2010 but purchased in 2011 looks excellant what would be a good price to offer and what did this machine cost originally any ideas. He is asking 6400. How do these mowers cut as compared to rest now mowing with Gravely 252 and just sold my Great Dane 61 Sr.

I own a couple scag ZTR's, and to be honest i wouldn't purchase this mower.
The tiger cub has a smaller frame than the bigger Scag riders, which is ok if you have a smaller deck like a 36" or a 48" deck. I was steered away from the 61" tiger cub by my dealer, he said the engine and frame are too small for that size of a deck and that with time you will have frame issues.

I dont know how much prices vary, but a 61" tiger cub new over here is worth about $8k or so.

If you were able to get the mower for $5k than i think its worth it.

Thanks opinions on it is what I'm looking for I miss wrote it it has a Briggs engine not a Kohler, I mow residental about 2 acres what in your opinion would be the best bang for the buck. So 6K would be to high for the Cub.
