Today went to the shop and brought the Shindaiwa T242 and they were out lucky for me the sell man gave me the T424x with $10 off. Then got a call to bid on a yard. Customer wanted pine straw, grass cut, hedges trimmed and edge up. Gave a price of $120.00 for first clean the $50 every two weeks, he wanted me to do for $75 and for that it's just grass cut and weed eat no edge. After about 10 minute talk got to $100.00 with pine straw, edge and grass cut. Started on the yard with the new Shindaiwa and edge was sooooo easy. Got done head down the road and he calls saying never mind he was going to buy a lawn mower and his self. I told that would be $50 for edging and he said oh go ahead and finish. Some customers are some thing else.

You should have walked away when he tried to talk you down in price. The price is the price you either pay it or you don't. You know your numbers so you know what you need to make to make money not just scape by.
