I'm an old geezer who still does his own yard work on my 1-1/2 acre lawn, cause
my yardman's grandson kept stealing my stuff. I joined to find some help getting
the governor adjusted on my B&S 28N707 15.5 HP OHV rider engine. Finally found some stuff
online that was helpful. I had rebuilt this engine last summer... threw a rod, and this
February, it blew a head gasket. Here's my 2｢ worth on that engine: Set the valves a little
tighter than specs... runs better and easier on started... compression release is better.
Anyway, hope I can be helpful here sometime. I have MTD and Craftsman edgers, AYP rider,
Toro walker, and a Cyclone Rake w/Tecumseh engine... and a whole lotta' other stuff.
