I have a older exmark(I think 94) with a ch22s 66529 kohler. I took a compression test on it this afternoon, the engine was cold and both cylinders were 100 lbs. I don't know what these should have so im hoping someone can enlighten me, it doesn't seem to burn any oil but now that the mowing season is almost over im just checking the general health of the motor and if I need to tear it apart I have the winter to do it. thanks. wnk

I'm good to say that's a touch low.my CH25s, kohlers and CV25s have between 150-170 psi that is cranky with both plugs out in the throttle wide open on a warm engine. It could just be at your gauge, at least both are the same compression that's a good sign. If it isn't consuming oil or leaking oil excessively I would just leave it alone don't mess with something that's running good
