Older 5 hp B&S 4cycle

I have an old Tru Test 5hp Deluxe garden tiller that I got started but it threw out lots of white smoke and then stopped after about 20 minutes. When I pour a little seafoam in the carburetor it will start but then stop. It's a B&S engine 130292-0141-06. Any tips to get it running? Anyone know where I could get a manual and parts?
(It had sat for years before I inherited it, and I'm surprised it started at all, but I would like to get it running.)

Search the net using the following model info since this a pre 1982 engine. But you will many parts for it are NLA now. The fuel pump diaphragm on the side on the carburetor will be needing to changed PN 270026 available in after market from Stens.

First thing to do is look in the tank and check for rust. If the tank is rusty you have some decisions to make before moving forward.
