Have an old Lawn Boy, late 60's or early 70's I believe?
Has a rectangular top with OMC on it.
Starts good, runs for a few minutes and then quits.
If primed, will restart and then stops again when prime runs out.
Just had carburetor cleaned by a mechanic, and he cleaned and oiled air filter as well.
He also put in a new set of gaskets.
I checked exhaust ports and they are clear.
Have tried new spark plug as well.
Any ideas/suggestions for repairs would be greatly appreciated.
My favorite mower, and I would hate to give up on it.

Did you check to see if the gas cap vents ?
Try running it without the cap on.

Is there a screen type filter in the tank or the carb inlet? Most LBs have one somewhere in the fuel supply.
