We took delivery of a new Titan Max a month ago but yesterday was our first cutting. The oil leak is discouraging. I’m hoping that the dealer just overfilled the case. The shop doesn’t open for a few hours but I’ll call as soon as it opens.
That all depends on how good the dealership is. When it is that new and not purchased at a BIG BOX store many good dealers will work with your. Please don’t make blanket statements like that. Another reason the support your local dealers.

And please don't tell me how to communicate . I'm not the one that caused that feeling about dealerships .
Buy 2 new lawn tractors same day , and post sale of 2 new X-350's , to the tune of nearly $10,000 , and have the feeling the dealer stepped in your face with a leather boot heel and ground it in . They had some rancher friend deliver those in a stock trailer that had hauled pigs because he was going my way and they could save a couple of bucks on a 30 mile trip . Compliments of P&K equipment corporate . Too bad the Mom and Pop business are history for the most part .
So because you had an bad experience with one of the 5% of bad dealerships, and that makes all dealerships bad??? According to you and your statement, even the Mom & Pop dealers are bad, as you paint them all with the same brush.
The courteous driver called 30 minutes before he arrived, helped me get into my shed (door was stuck) and loaded the Toro into a lift equipped box truck. Pretty good service so far. BTW: the dealer is Russo Lawn Equipment from Naperville, IL. Professional all the way.
Glad you had a good experience. I would have bet that way. According to SeniorCitizen you got the only good Mom & Pop dealer in Illinois, or just got lucky.

I forget the problem now.... Oh Ya. Wipe it down as much as possible and leave it running to try and determine where the oil is coming from. Gasket or Seal. Some cardboard underneath the suspect area may help after it is turned off.
