Original engine on Arien's self propelled L.M. Model# 911073, S/N 004063.

After engine starts perfectly, after running 20 min. with medium load, oil leaking to the top of the pan. Stop the engine and add 1-2 oz to oil level limit "mark" and restart engine. (Using 30 wt oil)
Repeating this operation every 20 min.
What would it take to repair the engine? Note: I've never dismantled an engine before, although good with tools. Please advise all pitfalls.

Need a picture of where it is leaking from. It can be one of 2 things.
