I can't get the oil cap off the engine. It will turn but not lift up and off. Can you help?

Do you have a Chevy, Ford, Cummins, Briggs, Jacobson, Kohler or Wisconsin Robin engine? Also engine numbers would help. Due to COVID most of the techs on this site have lost the use of their ESP so we need you to provide us with a better picture of what you are talking about.

Those numbers don’t help, there are actual engine number somewhere on the shroud or valve cover.

I guess I’ll have to do it the hard way by back tracking through the mower number. Sure would be easier if I had engine numbers. On top of that, it must be a tractor.

More than likely a Ryobi model 7T90HU engine. No good pictures or diagrams to be found. Don’t have one around to take a look at, plus don’t know if the OP means oil fill cap or oil drain cap. He’s going to have to take a couple of pic and a better explanation of what he needs. Already spent too much time on this one, but now I’ve got to figure it out.
