I have a Toro/Wheelhorse 522xi that doesn't like to reengage the mower-deck after stopping it (or backing up) after it has been run for awhile ( and is hot). Any ideas?

If you have an electric PTO, it may have a hot short or open, by which I mean, the PTO coil is either shorting to ground or breaking open when it gets hot. After it cools down, it contracts, making a good connection and works properly again. I have also seen PTO switches do the same thing.

Sounds right. Any idea how to Find/Get to the PTO coil?

The PTO coil is not fixable, would need to be replaced.
