It's a Husqvarna 125B 2-cycle leaf blower, maybe 5 years old.
Has been running weaker & weaker. Hard to start, will run a while, then die off.
Have been using a 40-to-50:1 mixture (synthetic oil) plus Stabil. I took a close look, spark plug says it's running hot (tip is white).
Screen on exhaust looked clogged, so removed & cleaned it off - not too plugged up.
After cleaning exhaust screen, exhaust temp apparently went sky-high (?) -- melted the plastic in front of exhaust screen. Now... just won't start at all.
I'm thinking carb needs a rebuild
What else is a possibility, hate to just throw parts at it, though I can buy a kit for under $20 that gives me soup to nuts.

Replaced carb, fuel lines, filter, plug.
Nothing.
Now really tested for spark - checked plug for spark, spun the engine using my drill
No spark. It's apparently the ignition coil.
Thanks for all the replies, and all the helpful advice.
