Oh ok. It is kinda curious isn't it. With the oil and gas mixed... burning some oil is kinda the nature of the beast for 2 strokes right? I'm pretty sure mine blow out some smoke on start up but not much if any after that.

When I was stationed up in Fairbanks, AK, there was a small snowmachine (outsiders know them as snowmobiles) that sold a non-smoking 2 stroke oil that was pretty dang good. Can't for the life of me remember the brand though..

What happened to Poulan synthetic two stroke oil? Used it for ten years -great. Now all I can find is the "blend" which seems like a marketing gimmick?

That is the old American Lube product that was sold under the ALCO NOSMOKE TWO STROKE line for years. Is very good oil then and now. Is owned by Spectrum now days. Many of the name brand synthetic two cycle oils are or have been made by Spectrum and or American Lube. I think the last time I looked the echo oil is made by Spectrum.

Thanks for the info. Im still undecided on what brand name 2 cycle mix oil I wanna sell to my customers. I narrowed the choices down to ethanol shield 2 cycle mix, American Lube thats sold in the Rotary catalog under the No Smoke/Rotary name or Stens.
