Check your battery...maybe it failed internally

Your PTO switch is still on.

Take screw driver and touch between the two large nuts on the solenoid and see if motor turns over.

It won't start...just see if the engine will turn over and not locked up

You could probably get a LOT more help here if you gave more detail.

Your mower engine runs or not? What engine is it make/model

Any sound you hear when you turn key. (the smallest click etc.)

Since it just recently happened on my ZT mower, I'd have to agree with shiftsuper175607.
Mine wouldn't start, click, groan or anything what-so-ever.
Just prior to giving up and calling in an air strike on it, I realized that the PTO knob was engaged.
Once it started and all was well, the first thing I did was to try and figure a way I could blame it on the wife.
Couldn't do it!
