Hi

Just a homeowner DIYer here. Am having trouble with "kickback" on a 15 HRX217.

Been going through the blogs and decided on a course of action as below.

Ordered a shop manual. Gonna check the valve lash and compression release.

Funny. My last mower was a Briggs's / Toro which gave me no problems. Hard to tell by one case but not so sure about Honda quality right now.

Welcome to lawnworld Tim, the only honda I have is a 2200w generator that I have had for over 20 years...great machine.
I dont know too much about the newer models but I know someone who does will chime in
