Own a Cub Cadet zero turning radius mower that I purchased new back in 1999. Runs well but can't get it to start without using my battery charger's 50 amp start mode. Replaced battery and battery wires, but to no avail. I now presume that I have a starter/solenoid issue and eventually will have to spring for new parts. I have the FD 590V-AS06 18hp Kawasaki engine. The original owners' manual isn't worth much.

Thanks for the Service Manual PDF. The diagrams and photos are great. I purchased one on-line but it is of such poor quality that the photos are useless. This will be a great help.
