Hello all. Liftoff, from the Snowblower side of life.
I am a virgin here, so please be easy on me. Haha.
I just sold my 15 year old John Deere LT155 38" deck with bagger. Guy gave me $1,200 for it. Pretty good I think. Cosmetically it looked great. She is getting a little tired out, as I had a side line job of dethatching yards in the spring. At one point I was up to 20 customer in the spring. I did that for 10 of the 15 year I had my little LT155. She served me well, and I'm gonna miss her.
Here i were you experts come in. I'm leaning toward getting a zero turn. I don't want anything more than a 38" cutting width due to storage and gate issues. I also require a bagger. If I go wider than 38" and have a bagger hanging off the side I will not get it in my shed.
So,,,,,,,,,, what do I get? I have been looking at the Ariens Zoom 34 on line. Have yet to look at one in person. I will be purchasing from a dealer. NO BIG BOX STORE PURCHASE FOR ME Thoughts on that? Then I did a build on line with a toro. I know on the snowblower side, we call it HAT when it comes to good brand of blowers. Honda, Ariens, and Toro. Not sure if you folks here have the same words of wisdom or not.
Let me have it. Fire away, I'm at your mercy as to what to buy.
