Folks,
Hydraulic help needed!
It seems wrong to sign up and immediately ask for help - as opposed to putting in some sort of bio.....so....
We live in the SW of England and have a small paddock .....and a large mower!
Had the opportunity to pick up a Rasomes 213 Highway for peanuts and it is too much mower for our little plot - but man, what a bunch of fun. Triple gang reel mower with full hydraulic drive and cut. Gives a great cut & I can get to play at being a real greens-keeper :0)
However, the drive no longer has any torque, will barely move against resistance (slight incline) and tends to 'surge' a bit when eventually moving. Lowering the reels increases resistance and just highlights the complete lack of torque. This applies in forward and reverse drive
All other hydraulic systems work well (cutting and lifting), have topped up oil system after changing all filters, for both engine and hydraulics.
Any thoughts as to likely cause, location of offending bit and easiest way to get this wonderful beast running again?
Thanks in advance,
Ian
